"Bootstrap Betsy" Introducing my newest girl in my Pirates series - "Bootstrap Betsy!" I love her colourful parrot friend bringing her strands of pearls! Actually, I love everything in this painting, from her classic tattoos - to the blue land crab approaching the half-buried skeleton - to the tropical sea - the palm trees reflecting in her eyes - the distant ship on the horizon - pretty cool! My own original acrylic painting. This is the full sized original 16"x12" square acrylic painting on 2" deep craded masonite, ready to HANG! This really is a stunning piece - it truly can be the focus of any room. This is an ORIGINAL PAINTING - not a print of any kind! It is on WOOD CRADLED MASONITE - Matt has added a hanger on the back, so it is READY TO HANG! No frame needed! Of course you can always add a frame if you want (if it's gallery profile, as this is 2" thick!), but she looks awesome by herself too. I've painted the wooden sides a glossy black, so it looks pretty sharp. I hope you enjoy looking at it, and maybe even adding it to your collection. It has a great deal of detail in it, and of course everything looks nicer in real life than in the low-quality scan.
