Welcome to my listing for handmade-in-Maine Doll Carrying Slings! I started making these when my second child was a sling-bound newborn and my oldest daughter wanted to “wear her baby, too!” Now both my children love theirs; it is so sweet to see them carrying their babies around like Mama and Papa. (it also reduces the number of “babies” I end up carrying around the grocery store and up the hiking trail! ;-) They are fully adjustable, doll carrying slings handmade in the funky, cotton fabric choice listed and shown below: D) A bright and vibrant pink and white floral cotton batik - fun and funky and oh-so-pretty! I am a self-confessed "fabric-junkie," and I love to work with brightly colored and patterned fabrics that reflect the natural vibrant creativity of children. They are the perfect gift for the new big brother or sister, so they can carry their "babies" around, too! They also make unique and fun birthday and holiday gifts to have on hand - even great party favors! ( I have many more slings in stock than I am able to list here so if you need something special, please ask! or visit my other website at outofmyhead.samsbiz. com for more! :) Some Information about my Doll Slings: They measure 12" by 44" and fit best on a 2-5 year old child. (I do make XL Slings for children 5+, but please contact me before ordering to determine fabric availability and pricing. I make the 2 sizes because I feel a lengthy tail of fabric is too cumbersome for a small child and gets in the way of active play...) They are "new with tags" (perfect for gift giving) and handmade by me. Due to their handmade nature, some slight size variation may occur. They are adjusted to size by the 2 brass rings sewn securely into one end. They also feature double rolled seams and hand-pleated ring-end for many years of rigorous play and washing. All of my items are from a smoke and pet-free home and are of the highest quality. Shipping to the USA is FREE!!! And I pride myself on shipping very promptly, often the same day you order!
