Summer Cottage Puzzle This auction is for an adorable three piece puzzle of a cottage scene with a summer theme on one side and a spring theme on the other, with tiny flowers blooming. It is called "Summer Cottage" but can of course be used all year round for a cute addition to any child's play. All the pieces are painted in beautiful colors in the Waldorf style of painting wooden animals and toys. This would also look really sweet on a nature table or tucked in a Christmas stocking! This adorable puzzle is 5.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall and is brand new in the package. It would look really cute on a nature table. Of course as a toy it will inspire lots of magical play! THE STORY OF THIS PUZZLE: Once upon a time in the country of Russia there lived a group of families who wanted a better education for their children. They had many plans and much energy and before long they divided into two groups, each with their own ideas of how to implement the Waldorf School ideology. The parents and their children were very creative and began making puzzles and toys, many which reflected Russian fairy tales. This developed into a cottage industry for both groups. They make puzzles and toys, all from wood and colored with paints that are free of harmful substances. They meet all of the safety requirements for toys.
