Charlie Feathers on FLIP # 503 in VG++ to NM condition. I'VE BEEN DECEIVED / PEEPIN' EYES. Labels are clean & free of any writing or stickers, just very light wear around the crest of the label. The three pushmarks are clearly visible on both sides. This record is an absolute original 1955 pressing. Charlies first record & recorderd at 706 Union in Memphis, Sun studio. The trail off numbers are etched on the A side: F 20 - 45 325, the B side is F 21 - 45 (72 scribbled thru) then 325 below that. The vinyl is amazingly clean, two small scratches on the Peepin side and a small spot where there is a pressing flaw, mostly in the trail off, very small " dimples or pinhead or smaller spots", two of which are in the playing surface, and they aren't audibe, plays clean from beginng to end, the flip is near mint, it also has the flaw in the same place and again mostly in the trail off, nothing major in the playing surface, a couple of small paper scuffs, sorry for the long description, I just want to make note of the pressing flaw, which isn't that bad at all. Only been played 3 times unless the DJ played it & stuck it in the drawer. If you have been lookin for a clean Charlie Feathers on Flip, look no further, as it would be hard to upgrade from this one.
