Here is a complete crank assembly for the Mcculloch 0-100-1 military surplus drone engine commonly used on gyrocopters and other experimental aircraft and also airboats. The pistons were removed with proper tools so as not to damage connecting rods. The needle bearing and thrust washers on rod small end are intact and i secured so components won't be lost. The crank spins freely with no resistance and the bearing/interior look clean and there was no metal debris in case or signs of stress. I decided to sell components off engine as I didn't want to deal with any liability issues from misuse of engine. I bought this engine from a IA/AP mechanic I used to work with and I planned one day to build a Benson b8 but I got into other light aircraft and never used. The individual i purchased it from stated he thought it had never been mounted in aircraft or airboat and he bought for a "someday" kind of project and never used. I think this would be great for spare parts or to build up into complete engine.I have a reasonable reserve price but would be great value as"Uncle Sam" paid a lot more for these engines. Thanks for looking.
