Very interesting, and busy, cover franked with US 5c Theodore Roosevelt definitive tied partial Evansville (Indiana), Dec 19 1938, postmark to Roman Catholic missionary nun at Kaifeng, East Hunan Province, China, severely damaged in transit with (6) China official seals at edges, tied violet boxed Hankow Post Office, Mar 2 1939, handstamps; (on reverse) violet two line boxed, "Received in broken condition and Officially sealed by this Office" marking, Nanking bilingual transit, Kaifeng bilingual backstamp.
