Very interesting cover franked with (1) 1937 China 1c surcharged issue tied Kaifeng bilingual postmark, severely damaged in transit with (5) China Post Office official seals on face and reverse, all tied violet two line boxed "Received and Officially Sealed" markings to Chicago, Illinois; (on reverse), block of (24) 1c surcharged stamps postmarked with same Kaifeng bilingual cancels. Has three inch (opening?) tear on face. + other faults that occurred in post office misshandling. *** We have been in the postal history business since 1953 and are members of the American Stamp Dealers Association, American Philatelic Society, National Stamp Dealers Association, Philatelic Traders Society (Great Britain), Canadian Stamp Dealers Association (Canada), International Federation of Stamp Dealers Associations, Collectors Club of New York and numerous other philatelic organizations.
