This eBay listing has ended : Paul Ysart / Harland paperweight with spaced millefiori on tossed muslin ground
This very pretty glass millefiori paperweight was made by Paul Ysart, Scotland during his Harland years 1970-75. The detail in the canes is amazing - in some cases even the very central element of a cane appears to have clusters of rods in it. It measures 3 inches diameter. A large central cane is encircled by six spaced simple and complex canes around which are arranged a garland of twelve alternating large and small canes. There is an 'H' (Harland) signature cane inside outer row. The canes rest on a tossed muslin ground. The pontil has been polished. It is in excellent condition. The dome has no chips or bruises - just two miniscule marks that catch on the fingernail. There is some wear on the base where it has been in contact with the surface. Buyers can pay with cheques in £’s and also postal orders & PAYPAL. Buyer to pay all shipping/postage costs. Discount on shipping for multiple purchases.
