This auction is for an antique (1950s?) "The Sparkler" Pom-Pom Aluminum Christmas Tree, which includes a revolving multi-color spot light. The tree item number is "M-434", U.S. Patent Number 2,893,149. The three aluminum tripod legs can be fastened to the wooden "trunk" with the silver ring that slides over them. This product is complete with the original box and branch sleeves. The underside of the box is stamped with: "Continental Can Company Inc, Richmond VA" and the box edge is stamped with: "CM Parr Inc, 100 Arsenal Rd, York, PA". The tree was made by "Star Band Company Incorporated" in Portsmouth, Virginia. The tree is 4 feet high when assembled and has 34 branches, which are still in their orginal paper sleeves. The spotlight was intended to be shone on the aluminum tree for "special effects" of color reflection. The colored light is functional. The stamp on the rear of the light indicates "E-20695" with a UL Listed logo. All items included are in good condition for their age. . No Returns.
