Welcome to another Back_In_Timemachines auction! The items sold here are genuine antique or vintage mechanical items that have been correctly and professionally restored or items found in excellent original condition. We reject the idea that “vintage” has to mean, rusty, scratched, dirty or “untested”. FOR AUCTION TODAY: A beautiful, restored and playing example a gorgeous C.1937 MAJESTIC model 60 radio with itsfamous wrap around Art Deco design. The cabinet is in excellent condition and was professionally refinished by Richmond Designs in a triple-toned lacquer finish and polished to a mirror shine finish! This radio is from my personal collection. I'm parting with a couple of my radios this month due to an unexpected job layoff. The radio is a good player - the chassis is a 6 tube, 2 band American Super-het set. The chassis is clean and in good physical condition. All capacitors replaced, tubes checked and replaced if necessary, and any out of tolerance resistors were replaced. The iconic glass windows for Band and Tone are present - the switches work of course but the indicators are not connected/for show. Note there are a couple of small flaws/marks in the veneer visible in the close-ups on pictures #9 and #10 - not bad but mentioning for disclosure. Please review all photos - they are part of the description. SHIPPING: Will Ship Double-boxed. Please ignore the shipping calculator - it is only approximate - and wait for an invoice so I can bill you for the correct shipping and insurance. Please review the super-sized pictures for all details and ask any questions before bidding. Please WAIT for an invoice so I can add in insurance to shipping. Dimensions: 14-1/2"X10"X9" Weighs about 10lbs (Unpacked) - 14 lbs packed. (All tube radios are subject to background interference of electronics in your home environment so reception and playing quality may vary depending on location in your home and antenna use.) 100% GUARANTEED just as pictured and described so you can bid with confidence - RETURNS are accepted for this item (see below). Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions you have BEFORE you bid. Please continue to check back - I will be listing Zenith, GE, and Emerson radios later in the week. NOTE: You buy and use antique electronic items at your own risk - we are not responsible for any injury resulting from the use of these used, antique, electronic devices. PAYMENT: We MUST hear from winning bidders within 3 days of the auction’s end. Payment MUST be received within 5 days of receiving an invoice. PayPal payments are preferred. Feel free to contact us regarding payment methods. If payment (or contact) is NOT received within 5 days, an eBay dispute will be opened. This dispute will be closed within 4 days after being opened and the item will be re-listed. GUARANTEE AND RETURN POLICY: All of our items are guaranteed to be as described in the auction, including the pictures. We accept returns or adjustments on our items unless the auction says "No Returns" in the description – which is rare. Payment for items damaged in shipping will be handled by the shipping insurance only. In order to return an item for a refund, you MUST notify us of a problem within 3 days of the item’s delivery and the item must be returned in EXACTLY the condition it was sent to you within 7 days. These are the only return conditions we follow.
