2880 Watt Server PSU + 2x10 PCI-E Harness = Power Supply for TWO (2x) Antminers S9/S7/L3+/D3 = Ready To Plug and Mine This is the way to professionally power bitcoin miners - please check the technical notes to see why. Amity Labs is not an electronics reseller, but an experienced large bitcoin mine operator/engineer. We have used this PSU/harness design for three years on a 24/7/365 basis at 100% duty cycle, and can attest to its utmost reliability, hardiness, and efficiency. Free shipping - satisfaction guaranteed - returns allowed (please check the free shipping / return policy limitations). Please note this is a 220V PSU. Load Specifications: Two Antminer S9 / S7 / L3+ / D3, orTwo Antminer T9 from the 11 TH/s batches (this PSU will NOT power two of the 12.5 TH/s 1500 Watt T9 - please see our AMP2450X1 or AMP4800X2 models for that) Two Antminer R4 (with PCI-e extension cable) Two Avalon A6 / Two Spondoolies SP-20 / Four Antminer S5Up to 2800 Watts of GPUs in Litecoin/Ethereum rigs Power Supply Specifications: 2880 Watts IBM server core ~90% efficiency at full load, power factor ~98-99% 200-240 Volt AC inputIncluded/integrated 6ft heavy-duty C20 power cord C20 plug can be replaced with another type if requested (note this will add to handling time).Harness Specifications: Twenty (20x) 16 AWG braided copper 6-pin PCI-E Molex connectors (each rated to 240 Watt / 20 Amps with 80 degrees C insulation) 28-inch long DC power bus implemented with heavy-gauge flexible braided copper-silicone cable (each cable rated 960 Watt / 80 Amp with 200 degrees C insulation) Wiring soldered to the power terminals (minimizes electrical and thermal resistance) All energized contacts fully insulated with electrical epoxy and/or 160 degrees C electrical tape.PCI-e connector layout optimized for S9 / S7 / L3+ / D3, with dedicated connector for controller Value: Our PSU provides the best value for the money! This is not a DYI kit, but a ready-to-plug PSU with all wiring installed and ready to use. Bitmain's ready-to-plug APU-1600 costs nearly $200 with shipping. It powers only a single S9 or S7 at a time! Most third-party bitcoin PSU rigs use breakout boards (see notes why you should not). They may use low-efficiency PSUs, which adds to your power bill and waste heat. Most third-party bitcoin PSU rigs can power only a single S9/S7/A6 anyway. Are you using a PC ATX power supply on a 120V outlet? Please stop! PC PSUs (even expensive "gaming" units) are not designed to withstand the 100% non-stop load from mining and will cause burn out. Usage Recommendations: Grounded 200-240V 15 Amp outlet AC circuit wiring/breakers rated at least 15 amps for one PSU / 30 amps for two. If you mine at home, a dryer outlet is one of the best options to plug this PSU. Because this is a custom modification of an existing device, the original FCC/UL/OHSA...etc PSU certifications are not applicable, and no safety guarantee is made. Free shipping only to the "lower 48" contiguous US states. HI, AK, Canadian buyers must pay shipping charges - please contact us before buying for shipping quote. Sorry, we cannot ship internationally. Are you a volume buyer? Please contact us - we can customize your order to your exact data center needs. Thank you! Technical Notes: We do not use breakout boards, and neither should you! Besides adding to the cost, breakout boards introduce unnecessary electrical and thermal resistance at the PSU terminals. This is not trivial when you deal with currents of 200 Amps or more! The PCB of most breakout boards does not have enough copper planes to carry such large currents. The result is overheating, delamination, and equipment-destroying burnout. The backplane connector of many breakout boards is the cheap low-current part# instead of the 50-Amp per blade version (check the difference on the Amphenol/Digikey parts site)Breakout boards have all their hot points exposed. Drop a coin, a screwdriver...etc - and watch what happensA good server PSU will outlast the breakout board and pretty much anything else in normal use. An interchangeable connector is moot. In contrast, our design targets heat management, hardiness, and insulation: We solder the conductors to the power terminals, providing for absolutely minimal resistance and optimal heat conduction/dissipation. The solid contact also protects against accidental disconnects and interface oxidation. Some power rigs crimp blade connectors to their power terminals, and use hot glue to hold them in place. Stay away from such hack jobs! The glue is flammable polyethylene. The crimped contact is mechanically weak, and subject to oxidation and local overheating. We insulate every hot point with hard electrical epoxy to prevent accidental shorts and increase hardiness. We use proper wiring gauge and insulation:PCI-e insulation is rated to 80 degrees Celsius, and has FT1/WV-1 flame exposure rating16 AWG PCI-e wiring is optimal for the maximum rating of the 6-pin connectors on your miner (240 Watt per terminal). Thicker wiring (e.g. 14 or 12 AWG) cannot be reliably crimped to the pin, resulting in local overheating and burnout. Bigger is not always better!DC power bus lines are rated to 200 degrees Celsius and feature silicone insulation for maximum performance We use quality PCI-e connectors with proper crimping:The weakest part of the PCI-e power link is the pin boot where the wiring is crimped. This is where overheating and burnout starts. Our PCI-e wiring is custom-made by a leading power cable manufacturer, and is specced for durability. The connector material has high temperature rating, the pins are correctly sized, and again - the crimp is done optimally. Is ready to plug and go - no IKEA-style screwing around with DIN terminals or spade connectors. Questions? Write us on eBay. Thank you! (c) 2017 Amity Labs. All rights reserved.
