New Flasher Circuit Board Works With Either A 9v Battery Or The Accessory Output (AC or DC) From The Power Pack Auction is for 2 Crossing Signals and 1 Flashing Circuit ONLY Track and RDC Coach NOT included Up for auction is a pair of Custom “Bachmann Crossing Signals - Crossbucks”. The original crossing signals were not lit. They only had two red colored lenses. I have installed a very small LED behind each of the original colored lenses. The LEDs are soldered to very fine wire. These wires are braided, routed, glued, and painted so that they are hardly noticeable on the structure. I have taken great care to make these changes as un-noticeable as possible. The wires extend through the base of the signal. The wire extensions are designed to fit through a 3/16” hole drilled through the platform. All the wires for the flashing LEDs are color-coded stranded hook-up wire. The flashing circuit is complete, assembled, and tested. These are custom hand wired and hand painted signals. These signals are 7/8” tall and 1/4” wide. In N Scale this signal is 11’- 8” Tall and 3’- 4” Wide. The red LEDs are wired so that they can be lit independently. The wires are color coded for easy connection. Just drill a 3/16” hole, drop in the signal & connect the wires. Flash rate is about one cycle per second. Circuit Board is 1.5” x 2.1” Voltage 9 – 24 volts AC or DC System is tested prior to shipping. What do the people who have purchased these Crossbucks say about them? “Just wanted to drop you a note and say that... This item is simply outstanding, the best looking and functioning upgraded Bachmann signal I have ever had the privilege to own. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! “- eSPee ”You are an absolute wizard when it comes to microelectronics! I have tried the signals and crossbucks and they work great (haven't tried the flasher yet, but I'm sure it's ok)... How you get those LEDs into the Bachmann signals I don't know (are they surface mounts?), but I commend you for it and I want more….I have purchased many brands of N gauge signals and there is a very wide scale range...the Atlas and Model Power signals are way too big, almost toylike. So are the ones from Hong Kong. In my mind, your signals are as good as any Tomar or NJI signals...maybe even better, because you retrofit unlit signals, and the wires are virtually invisible.” - Ric Well they look good, but how do I make them work on my layout? These signals are low current and voltage. They should work with any of the many detectors available. I have a couple of schematics (they are included when you purchase the signal) that should help to show how to hook it up. You just need to interrupt one of the power wires to the flasher circuit board or the white output wire to the Corssbucks to turn the crossing lights on or off. A simple relay in between this flashing circuit and any off-the-shelf train detector should work. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
