teresak513 Store ANTIQUE 1889 PATEK PHILIPPE TIFFANY & CO 18K GOLD ENAMEL PENDANT POCKET WATCH Description HERE IS AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND RARE ANTIQUE 1889 PATEK PHILIPPE RETAILED BY TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK 18K GOLD ENAMEL DEMI HUNTERS CASE PENDANT POCKET WATCH. IT HAS MATCHING SERIAL #84136 ON THE CASE AS WELL AS THE MOVEMENT. THIS PIECE WEIGHS 23.36 DWT OR 36.3 GRAMS AND THE WATCH MEASURES APPROX 1 7/8" FROM BOW TO BASE AND A BIT OVER 1 1/4" FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THE DIAL MEASURES IN LIGNES 12, INCHES DECIMAL 1.066 AND MILLIMETERS 27.07. IT IS MARKED ON THE INSIDE OF THE BACK COVER TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK WITH A CASE NUMBER 201353. IT IS MARKED NO 84136 TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK ON THE DUST COVER AND IS ALSO MARKED 201353 ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE DUST COVER. THE DIAL READS TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK. THE MOVEMENT READS NO 84136 TIFFANY & CO. NEW YORK. THERE IS ANOTHER MARK ON THE GOLD BELOW THE CROWN BUT I CAN NOT MAKE OUT WHAT IT IS. THE MOVEMENT IS WOLF TOOTH WINDING AND THE CASE HAS BEEN TESTED AND IS GUARANTEED SOLID 18K GOLD. THE WATCH DOES REQUIRE SERVICING. WE SENT THE WATCH TO THE GENTLEMAN THAT NORMALLY SERVICES OUR POCKET WATCHES. AFTER A FEW DAYS OF RESEARCHING THE WATCH HE RECOMENDED WE DID NOT REPAIR THE PIECE AND SOLD IT AS IS. STATING THAT A COLLECTOR OR ANY INTERESTED PARTY WOULD WANT THE WATCH IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION AND WOULD ALSO WANT TO HAVE IT SERVICED BY A SPECIALIST THAT WORKS WITH THESE TYPES OF TIMEPIECES. THE WATCH WAS WORKING HOWEVER NOW IS NOT, THERE IS ENAMEL LOSS TO THE FRONT AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. THE ENAMEL TO THE BACK IS IN NICE CONDITION BUT HAS A COUPLE VERY LIGHT SCRATCHES. THE FRONT IS NOT LATCHING SHUT AND DOES NEED ADJUSTED. THE MINUTE HAND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED ALTHOUGH THE HOUR HAND IS INTACT. THE MOVEMENT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED AND SERVICED. AS IT WAS WORKING WE KNOW IT IS NOT MISSING ANY PARTS. SINCE WE HAVE BEEN IN POSSESION OF THE WATCH WE HAVE NOT TAKEN IT APART NOR HAS ANYONE ELSE. WE WERE TOLD THIS WATCH WOULD BE MARKED ON THE BACK OF THE DIAL WITH PP CO BAKED INTO THE ENAMEL. WHEN MADE, THIS WATCH WOULD HAVE BEEN SPECIALLY ORDERED BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. SPECIAL MADE IMPORTANT TIME PIECES OWNED AND MADE FOR THE ELITE. ALTHOUGH THIS PIECE HAS IT'S ISSUES IT WOULD STILL BE AN AMAZING ADDITION TO ANY WATCH COLLECTION.
