We purchased it from the estate of an elderly woman, along with some other beautiful older pieces of jewelry she had owned for years and years. Very unique...with the quite primitive amethysts; each mounted on a solid backing of sterling. I've never seen another quite like it...(many are fashioned without the stones)...they add a tranquil calming beauty seldom seen on such a collectible bracelet. It has not been cleaned or polished...the hinge is solid and strong. I'm not sure of the individual artist but it is in the style of Antonio Castillo or the Pineda family.
